With a team of over 26 people and growing based in the UK with national and international coverage, Sychem provides engineered solutions to hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical and biomedical facilities. From its humble beginnings as a chemical and service provider Sychem has grown to a leading supplier, launching its washer disinfection division in 2004 and its sterilisation and decontamination division in 2008 following an acquisition of Medical Physics International steriliser division, Sychem is a trusted name in providing specialist equipment combined with the highest levels of after-sales support.
In 2009 Sychem launched its material handling division and is now manufacturing a range of automatic material handling systems, our automatic bedding dispensers are now sold in over 20 countries globally through our exclusive global supply partner Allentown Inc. In 2014 we see our launch of the patented Signum allergen containment system and are establishing trading links across the globe for this innovative product.
Sychem has successfully supplied, installed and commissioned sterilisation and decontamination equipment within some of the biggest names within the UK medical, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and biomedical sectors. 2012 saw the completion of our first £1 million project with the Health Protection Agency. This project featured Sychem as the Principle Contractor with other trades such as building and M&E contractors being subcontracted.
This project included the supply of 3 large autoclaves, 3 washing systems, 1 bottle processing system, 1 material handling system and a glassware washer dryer. The project required the successful tenderer to identify the most appropriate equipment for the facilities needs and identify the most effective design layout for the new equipment to be located within.
In addition to the above our client list includes NHS, BMI Healthcare and Spire Healthcare, all major universities, research facilities and contract research institutions. All sites have continued to use our high quality planned preventive maintenance and support service on all equipment supplied.
