ATP Swab – Surface & Water Test for Healthcare and Research

ATP Swab_Snap_Squeeze

Swab, Snap, Squeeze. It's that easy

Using ATP Swab surface tests couldn't be easier. The three-step process for collecting a sample, activating the device, and mixing the sample is so simple, anyone can do it.

UltraSnap™ is a user-friendly, all-in-one ATP Swab sampling test used with Hygiena luminometers. This pen-sized sample collection device is easy to use, small, and environmentally friendly. In addition, UltraSnap uses a unique liquid-stable reagent providing superior accuracy, longer-lasting signal strength, and more reproducible results. This unique chemistry and design eliminate the need to reconstitute lyophilized pellets, enabling consistent and accurate results.

ATP Swab SuperSnap_Logo

SuperSnap™ is the most sensitive ATP Swab surface test in Hygiena's portfolio of all-in-one devices. SuperSnap is designed to work with all Hygiena™ luminometers; it detects extremely low levels of ATP so it can be used as an allergen cross-contamination prevention tool or when dealing with harsh samples. By incorporating SuperSnap into a prevention program, risks and issues are recognized in real time and immediate corrective actions can be implemented before product change-overs.

Four times as powerful

Resistant to concentrated sanitizers and harsh environments, SuperSnap is Hygiena's highest-powered ATP test device. With four times the sensitivity than Hygiena's basic ATP test, UltraSnap™, SuperSnap raises the standard for ATP detection.

What are the Benefits?

  • Superior resistance to sanitizer effects
  • More resistant to challenging product residues and production environments at extreme pHs
  • Pre-wetted swab helps to break through biofilm
  • Detects very small amounts of ATP and organic residues
  • Low variation; consistently true results at low RLU

ATP Swab_MediCheck_Logo

MediCheck is a quick and easy way to verify the cleanliness of washer disinfectors, dental tools, and surgical equipment in support of infection prevention and control. MediCheck detects any protein residues left on a surface after cleaning. By simply swabbing the area and activating the device, you release a reagent that turns color, providing a qualitative and semi-quantitative result of the protein levels on the surface: green means clean and purple means re-clean. The more protein present, the quicker the color change to purple and the darker the color. MediCheck quickly validates surface hygiene, allowing an immediate corrective action to be taken when necessary. Because protein is present in biohazardous matter, protein residue is a good indicator of surface contamination.

The proof is in the color

Green means clean, and purple means re-clean. Protecting your patients and ensuring tool hygiene has never been easier. The more protein in your sample, the deeper and dark the purple becomes. There's even a color chart printed on the label to help with interpretation and eliminate any guesswork.

AquaSnap Total measures total organic contamination (ATP from organic and microbial sources) in a water sample. The easy-to-use test validates cleaning effectiveness of endoscopes by detecting any residual contamination in flushed water samples from inner channels or hard-to-clean elevator channels of duodenoscopes. The specifically designed dipper tip collects 100 µl of water ensuring consistent sample collection from test to test. AquaSnap is convenient, economical, and gives real-time results. Ensuring the effectiveness of cleaning procedures helps to facilitate successful high-level disinfection and sterilization.

Quick cleaning verification check

AquaSnap Total quickly checks the efficiency of pre-cleaning and cleaning efforts before high-level disinfection and sterilization. Simply flush the scope or specific channels with sterile water, sample the water with AquaSnap, activate the test, and read the results in your Hygiena luminometer. If ATP is present in the sample, cleaning efforts are not properly removing residue and the scope is still dirty.
