AC 1200

Compact Cage and Bottle Washer

In partnership with Steelco, Sychem’s AC 1200 is a compact-sized washing device specially designed to wash and sanitise all types of animal care equipment of your vivarium: cages, feeding bottles, and fish tanks. The compact design grants the highest flexibility of installation and minimises operating costs.

Available as a single-door or double-door version for a pass-through application, the device offers the highest levels of cleaning efficacy, with micro-organisms’ thermal/chemical destruction by rinsing at 85°C / 185F through an independent hydraulic circuit ensuring a contamination-free environment. Electrical or steam heated, the unit is equipped with a double dosage unit for chemicals as standard; additional dosing systems can be added upon request.

Our AC 1200 features an upper drop-down vertical space-saving sliding loading door. The lower section of the door, when open, acts as a loading platform for the loading tray allowing a convenient loading and unloading job. A comprehensive range of dedicated accessories allows for the optimised loading of animal cages and washing carts with injection systems for bottles.

Smart Filtering System

Steelco protects your equipment’s life cycle and guarantees safety to the user: an innovative multistage water filtering system combined with a self-cleaning filter for recirculation of the washing water. In addition, the machines are equipped with an independent washing/rinsing hydraulic system for an extra level of cleanliness.

Aquatic Tank Processing Kit

Specific kit for reprocessing aquatic tanks used in research facilities, including three chemical dosage pumps, upgrade to washing circuit, flow meters, and a conductivity probe.

Optimal Cleaning Performance

The washing system, operating with independent washing and rinsing hydraulic circuits, features three-level rotating spray arms positioned on the top, middle, and bottom levels of the washing chamber. The washing water is loaded in the washing chamber sump and heated up to the temperature defined for the washing phase. Final rinse water for sanitization is heated up into an AISI 316L pre-heating side tank. Temperatures are monitored by temperature probes.
