PL 70 Low Temperature Medium Capacity Steriliser

Low Temperature Vaporised H2O2 Steriliser with a Medium Capacity
Sychem’s PL 70 in partnership with Steelco, is a low-temperature sterilisation system with a chamber capacity of up to 84 litres / 2.88 cu ft. The device is designed for terminal sterilisation of moist and heat-sensitive medical devices employing vaporised hydrogen peroxide. It is suitable for surgical instruments in metal, metal alloys, light non-metallic alloys, micro-surgery, and instruments with lumen with a maximum length of up to 2200 mm / 86.62″ and a minimum diameter of up to 0,5 mm.

Vaporised hydrogen peroxide sterilisation with SteelcoPro PL sterilising agent is safe, fast, and environmentally friendly – operating with low pressure and low temperature for protecting instruments and reducing energy consumption. Available as single-door or double-door versions, it is equipped with a manual hinged door and with flexible load capacity configurations. PL 70 is controlled by a PLC digital microprocessor with a 7″ colour touch screen HMI. Loading and unloading operations can be done at an ergonomic height. The loading height is ergonomically placed at 1020 mm / 40.17″.

Five high-performance work cycles are programmed at the factory, validated, and available for running from the control panel:

Fast | Dedicated to non-lumened instruments with and without articulations

Flex | For flexible endoscopes, including DaVinci® instruments

Standard | For mixed loads: flexible, rigid, and semi-rigid lumens and non-lumened instruments

Intensive | For mixed loads: flexible, rigid, and semi-rigid lumens and non-lumened instruments with more challenging dimensions

Superfast | Ultra-fast cycle for reduced loads that can be activated as an option on all models of the PL range

Process Quality Focus

Ensuring efficiency and safety in every step of the sterilisation process is fundamentally important. With these aims, the Sychem PL range features a wide selection of tools: a humidity level check performed at the beginning of each cycle to control the humidity level and remove excess moisture; continuous monitoring of the process, with chamber pressure and temperature monitoring by redundant sensors, ensures optimal performance; an external plasma generator system guarantees better protection of the reprocessed instruments.

Control System and Traceability

The large 7″ touchscreen control panel facilitates device control with bright, easy-to-read information, offering an intuitive and practical aid for operators in their daily tasks. An integrated thermal printer provides cycle data storage; if connected to the network, easy integration with SteelcoData Live u0026amp; Pro, our management u0026amp; traceability software suite.
